Iyengar Yoga 

with Paula Curtis Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher

This class is the perfect choice for students new to yoga, new to the Iyengar method, or just want a stronger foundation for their practice. It’s based on the Iyengar’s preliminary course and focuses on classical poses that will provide the basis for the practice of yoga. Basic standing poses, seated forward bends and twists will be taught. Modifications and alternatives are available when necessary as Paula teaches to the students in front of her. Students develop flexibility, strength, and body awareness, learn proper alignment, and are taught the use of props. Iyengar Yoga is offered Monday’s 9:45am-11:00am and Tuesday’s 5:30pm-6:30pm
